I went thru a serious health challenge recently (I’m pretty much fine now) which made me want to touch base with folks and let them know how I feel about them. You never know when you might not have another chance to do so!
You might be related to me by blood or marriage, or we might have dated. Perhaps we attended school or a seminar together, or sat next to each other at a gathering. You might have been a client or colleague, or maybe I worked for you. Maybe we shared time together in a car or on a bus. Or maybe we have only talked on the phone and never even met.
These are just some of the circumstances in which I have been privileged to share intimate moments with the many people that I have loved in my life.
Although the lyrics & some of the photos in this video reflect a story about two people in a romantic relationship, the same emotions generated by the music could be applied to any relationship in which the two participants have drifted apart for whatever reason. Could be father-daughter, son-mother, sister-brother or sister, or even more distant relationships where loving exchanges from the heart have been experienced and treasured.
As the month of hearts and valentines rolls in, I wanted to dedicate this video to every one of you with whom I’ve shared such exchanges. The music (and voice) carries all the emotion I feel at being apart from you and my sorrow for anything I may have said or done to contribute to that. I love you, I’m sorry, please forgive me, thank you.
